Helping Pinellas Now Fund

Strategic giving. Local impact. Real change.

When you give to the Helping Pinellas Now Fund, your generosity is pooled, stewarded, and directed toward the most pressing needs in our community. This flexible fund allows PCF to respond quickly as local priorities evolve, supporting trusted nonprofits across housing stability, food access, mental health, arts and culture, environmental education, and more.

Grants are made with care, transparency, and data-informed guidance, ensuring resources reach where they can do the most good, when they are needed most.

From pooled giving to real outcomes

Strengthening food networks

Across Pinellas County, partners like The Kind Mouse provide weekend and emergency groceries to students referred by schools and agencies. Reliable access to food supports learning, focus, and long-term stability for children.

Pathways to stability and opportunity

Through operating support to organizations like Starting Right, Now, young people experiencing housing instability gain consistency, support, and the ability to stay engaged in school and plan for their future.

Expanding access and inclusion

Grants to organizations such as the Family Center on Deafness improve accessibility and expand services so deaf and hard-of-hearing neighbors can fully participate in work, school, and community life.

Protecting local environments

Support for the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center strengthens environmental education and conservation, helping residents understand and care for the ecosystems that define our region.

Pinellas County’s needs are interconnected and constantly changing. Flexible, community-informed funding allows PCF to respond with intention, direct resources responsibly, and support nonprofits with proven impact. Every gift strengthens local organizations and helps stabilize families, individuals, and neighborhoods across our county.

Grassroots impact

The Social Opportunity Works Fund

Fueling grassroots nonprofits driving meaningful, community-led change across Pinellas County.

The Social Opportunity Works Fund was created to strengthen small, local nonprofits addressing barriers in housing, education, economic opportunity, and health equity. These organizations are deeply embedded in their communities and uniquely positioned to lead transformational work.
